Adult Education, GED, and ABLE Classes
Adult education and GED classes meet at Hicksville High School in Room 215 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during the months of September through May. Although classes meet at Hicksville High School, the classes are part of the Four County Career Center.
Adult students attend for a variety of reasons. Some attend to brush up on skills in science, social studies, math, reading, or writing. Improved skills in these areas may help in pre-employment testing or college admissions testing. Some adults attend to practice skills needed to earn a GED. Other adults attend so that they can better help their children with school work.
If you or someone you know might be interested in attending these classes, please call 419-542-7636 or 419-542-6469 to schedule an orientation. If you prefer to schedule an orientation by sending an email, include your name, address, and phone number in an email to peltonr@hicksvilleschools.org.
